November 15th is America Recycles Day!
Did you know that in Susquehanna County there are several municipal recycling programs offered? We want to thank the municipal volunteers who keep these programs going. Please, follow the guidelines and hours set forth by the municipality. Your cooperation is what makes these programs possible! The following locations receive material at designated times that are later brought to the Susquehanna County Recycling Center: Brooklyn Township the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, 9am-noon Clifford Township the 3rd Saturday of the month, 9am-noon Lenox Township the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 7:30am-11:30am (New Hours!!) Liberty Township the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 10am-noon There are also programs at Rush Township and Forest City. Please, check with your municipal officials for more details.

Remember, we cannot accept plastic food containers. Only plastic bottles with a #1 or #2 can be recycled here at the Recycling Center. Questions? Give us a call @ 278-3509 or 278-3589.
